More Musket Lust...

I know scripture commands us to be content in whatever state we are in...
But... A Colt/Root Revolving Rifle! How Cool is that!?
For me, at least, the price is WAY too steep. Dixie Gun Works wants $1600.00 Yankee dollars.
(I guess I will have to wait until the Indians make them...)
Regards,
Duke

  1. I loved to have that in my arsenal, however right now my means are not answerable to my will.

  2. With the economy the way it is, how can any of you purchase such items? Heck I have to watch my spending just so that I can muster up enough Yankee coin to hopefully join you gentlemen on the field of honor.

  3. I was thinking that I would spend all that I could and then let Obama pick up the tab.

  4. Chaplain,

I know I don't need it. I know its a frivolous purchase (to be honest, I didn't pay that for my car...), but I woulf LOVE to have it. I have been blessed to the point where the only debt I have is my mortgage. This leaves a few dollars to be spent on "wants". By the way, I would not pay $1600.oo, but if I could find one at $700.00...

  5. Lieutenant Creely,

I doubt that the Obamessiah would support subsidising weapons for participation in a right wing extreme activity.
Perhaps if you were to hang solar panels from it during the week...

  6. Sir,

Are those the solar panels that go with my geo-thermal heating and cooling system, my pious, sorry prius, and carbon credits? If so, then yes we can!

  7. Duke,
The Bible does not say we can't dream.
I was merely making a point about my own financial situation. Money is tight right now and I haven't seem MY government stimulus yet. In fact since the government considers me self-employed, I wound up paying just over $4,000 in taxes. Happy stimulus to someone else I guess.
