It has come to my attention that I have not listed the Battle of Anderson on our schedule. Please include this: Battle of Anderson Mar 28th & 29th.
Lieutenant Gardo: Please contact Allen Ashley 864-934-4075 ~ 864-296-1275 & Jim Bay 864-207-6748... Let them know that Columbia, with a detachment of CS Marine Sharpshooters will be on the field. If they need a registration form have them mail you one, & we will fill it out.

Duke I called Allen today (fri) and told him that columbia would be taking the field at anderson alone with a CS Marine Sharpshooter detachment. Allen said that there wolud be a $5.00 per person fee but that there would be a feed Sat. night if this is not ok let me know and ill call him back. thanks

ReplyDeletePoint 1: You did what I asked you to do, & I gave no specific instructions. Thank you. Captain Kateman would have driven a harder bargain, but he has been at this for 10 years :)
I prefer to get in free, but I don't mind paying a small amount (particularly for events who have a good feed Saturday night). My only question is: Were we promised a gun bounty? If so, how much? If not, please call them back & follow up.
Point 2: You are an officer in this regiment. Your word will bind us. I will not go behind your back, undermine or question your decisions (unless you do something illegal or fatally stupid... ie: bringing 25 # of black powder unto a government school ground..)

Duke i was told that there would be a $100.00 power bounty,and i will try to harder next time to get us a better deal but this was my first time at this, i ask that you bear with me as i learn and i may ask you or cpt. hateman for help. thanks for your trust.
